Grayer was identified on August 24th, 2008 during a day dive at Honokohau Harbor. He was approximately 7 feet across.

Grayer was a very shy Manta Ray at first and did not like to be in the center of the action. He stayed close to the bottom and away from the other Manta Rays. |

|
One night in September 2009 he was the only Manta Ray at Manta Heaven, and this was his break-thru in getting comfortable with the bubbles and lights. Today he is one of our main "performers" at Manta Heaven. |

Description of Markings:
Grayer has a “V” spot pattern. His “V” is made up of three big smooth spots. One large peculiar spot on his right side which is accompanied by two more spots on the left . |
